Business Development Manager / National Account Manager

Salary: £45,000-£50,000 + Company Car

What You’ll Be Doing

• Build and grow relationships with key customers, helping to identify opportunities to expand accounts
• Support the delivery of sales targets and contribute to overall business growth
• Work alongside the Group Sales Director to develop and implement sales plans
• Take ownership of your pipeline, keeping track of opportunities and forecasting performance
• Begin to develop your leadership skills by supporting and coaching a Business Development Manager
• Get involved in pitches, proposals, and commercial discussions with customers
• Identify and win new business opportunities, including larger or strategic accounts over time
• Support customers with product setup, training, and ongoing success
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth customer experience
• Represent the business at meetings, events, and networking opportunities

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in sales or business development, with a desire to move into a management role
• A track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• A commercial mindset and confidence in having customer conversations
• An interest in developing leadership and mentoring skills
• Well-organised, proactive, and motivated to grow your career
• Comfortable using CRM systems and Microsoft Office
• A full UK driving licence and willingness to travel

Experience-wise:

• Experience in the coffee industry would be highly desirable
• If not, a background in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) is essential
