Location : London

Work mode : Hybrid – 2 to 3 days a week in the QBE office, London

(Outside IR35)

Job Description: -

• Expectation would be to act as Test Manager & oversee the testing activities in the project in various stages of project mentioned below
• Project initiation (Estimations, Test Planning, Environment Setup, forming Test Strategy)
• Test Design (Requirements Analysis, Functional scenarios & Test Cases Development)
• Test Execution (Test Execution, Test Reporting, Defect Management & Test Summary Reporting)
• Good experience in Insurance domain (General Insurance) is a must and also should have good knowledge of Reinsurance processes & lifecycle

Underwriting, Claims, Reinsurance, Finance & Credit Control life cycles specially on Reinsurance, Knowledge of End to End data flow within these applications

• Experience of working on large modernization and migration projects i.e. from Legacy to cloud platform migrations e.g. Azure
• Strong Test management, risk management, and change management skills, combined with technical proficiency in cloud platforms
• Key non-technical skills include excellent communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, analytical problem-solving, and a continuous learning mindset. 
• Data analysis & data testing background is a must have.
• Excellent Communication & interpersonal skills i.e. Needs to be outspoken & able to interact with different vendors & business stakeholders
• Good Experience of Test Planning, co-ordination & Management. Should be able to form the Test Approach & give direction to team to guide them
• Good Experience of UAT Planning & Management (UAT co-ordination).
• Should be able to Monitor, Track and do Status Reporting of large-scale projects.
• Should be able to schedule project reviews, audits, and track resulting actions.
• Exposure to all stages of Software Testing Life Cycle is a must.

Technical Skills:

• Modernization projects understanding i.e. from Legacy to Azure Cloud migrations
• Data Analysis, Migration / ETL Testing (Must)
• Web application Testing (Must)
• Experience in Scrum/Agile methodologies.
• Expertise in Jira
• Understanding automation testing processes & tools (Selenium, Tosca)
• Understanding performance testing processes & tools (Jmeter / Loadrunner)

• Good experience on Agile testing methodology and process around testing delivery
