My Stoke based client is currently looking to onboard a SQL Developer, you will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making across the organisation. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust database solutions that ensure the accuracy, accessibility, and performance of the data systems

Key Skills:

• Minimum 2 years of experience in developing scripts for extracting, transforming, and loading (ETL) mass data from diverse sources and formatting
• 4+ years of experience with SQL Server and SQL database development; (SSIS, SSAS, SSRS)
• Understanding of Control flow tasks and Data Flow components
• Understanding of Multidimensional and Tabular Models
• Understanding of normalisation
• Able to performance tuning especially tuning queries, procedure and indexing strategies
• Knowledge of SQL transaction processing
• Able to write stored procedures transactional systems and data modelling
• Understanding primary and foreign key relations
• Knowledge of exception handling
• Great Data Modelling skills.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate large volumes of data.
• In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, backup, recovery, security and monitoring)
• An ability to understand front-end user’s requirements and a problem-solving attitude
• Ability to create technical documentation to explain the solution that was implemented
